About the role
Our thirst for technology is a part of everything we do. The Data Center Engineering team takes the physical design of our data centers into the future. Our lab mirrors a research and development department -- cutting-edge strategies are born, tested and tested again.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert technical support to data center services and operations teams
- Define Mechanical system design requirements for multiple data center projects
- Develop, implement, and manage the mechanical designs at the site level
- Collaborate effectively with the Engineer of Record to respond to site-specific engineering Requests for Information
- Work closely with the core engineering team to provide site-specific requirements during the development of the Basis of Design
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
- 12 years of experience in mission critical facility design and construction environments
- 12 years of experience in design, construction and commissioning of HVAC and mechanical distribution systems
- Experience in mechanical infrastructure
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time as required
